The Squamish Beer Festival
Celebrating its 8th year in 2024, the Squamish Valley Beer Festival is an annual festival for all things beer and cider. The festival attracts over 2,000 attendees. It features a variety of entertainment options as well. There are usually live bands, DJs, street entertainers, food trucks, interactive art installations, axe throwing and more.
Where and When
The Squamish Valley Beer Festival takes place at Loggers Sports Ground, which is at 39555 Loggers Lane in Squamish.
In 2024 the festival happens on Saturday, June 22nd. It’s a half-day event and runs from around 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
The Beer Festival happens on the same day as the Squamish Farmers Market. The farmers market is a weekly event that takes place on Saturdays on Cleveland Avenue in downtown Squamish. It’s worth checking out as both events are in the same area.
Festival Admission
Ticket prices to the Squamish Beer Festival vary depending on how early they are purchased and whether they include beer tokens. Prices for the 2024 festival are listed below. The first price in each category doesn’t come with any samples, whereas the second price includes 15 beverage tokens.
- Earlybird Tickets – $49, $65 (sale ends April 30th)
- Regular Tickets – $55, $70 (from May 1st to June 21st)
- Day-of Tickets – $65, $80
What to Expect at the Beer Festival
At the event you can expect to see lots of people, beer vendors, live entertainment and about half a dozen food trucks. As many as 2000 people attend the event.
Over 40 craft beer breweries, cideries and other beverage makers participate each year. Between them, they offer samples of over 100 different drinks.
Food vendors at the event a couple of years ago were Carte Diem Greek Food, Frencheez, Hot Dog Hustlin’, Luz Tacos, Teriyaki Boys and Whistler Wood Fire Pizza. The variety of food truck vendors in 2024 will likely be comparable.
