Potters Christmas Store

Late each year Potters Nursery in Surrey becomes the Christmas Store at Potters which is the biggest retailer of winter holiday merchandise in Metro Vancouver.

Potters Nursery also used to run Potters House of Horrors which was a haunted house attraction in Surrey. A few years ago, however, they sold that and it became Cougar Creek’s House of Horrors (which continues to be one of the best, and most frightening, haunted attractions in British Columbia).

If you like the winter holiday season and shopping for unique Christmas gifts and decorations, Potters is a good place to do that. Other places to check out include Lower Mainland Artisan Craft Fairs and events like the Vancouver Christmas Market. Also, new for 2024, there is the Noel Holiday Light Festival & Market which runs from November 28th to December 23rd at the Cloverdale Fairgrounds in Surrey. In Langley there is both Merry & Bright at Martini Town and Glow Christmas as well.

Potters Christmas Store

Potters Nursery is a large garden centre in the City of Surrey. Throughout most of the year, the place offers locally produced plants such as perennials, herbs, annuals and more.

However, starting in November each year, Potters becomes a massive Christmas store that attracts folks from all over the Lower Mainland. In fact, Potters claims to be the largest Christmas store in all of Western Canada!

The 28,000 square-foot building is full of tens of thousands of products to browse. There are tons of festive items to meet everyone’s needs for the holiday season.

A particularly impressive section in the store is the “Dark Room”. It features a variety of themed lights for Christmas trees. Other highlights in the store include an upside-down tree full of sweet decorations like ice cream cones and cupcakes, along with an area full of gifts for pets.

The store also has plenty of other decorations and gift ideas for all ages, making it an awesome place to visit before Christmas each year.

Store Location and Hours

Potters Nursery is located at 19158 48th Avenue in Surrey.

As of mid-November in 2024, the Christmas store is open every day of the week. Potters opens at 9:00 am from Monday to Saturday, but it opens at 10:00 am on Sunday. The store closes at 6:00 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday. It closes at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
