University Golf Club in Vancouver

The course at University Golf Club is nestled in Vancouver’s gorgeous University Endowment Lands. It plays 6423 yards from the tips and 4721 yards from the easiest tee boxes. Fairways are long, narrow and surrounded by tall trees. Although this sounds challenging, players of all skill levels enjoy the well-maintained course and appreciate its traditional design. The course is often recognized as one of the best public courses in the City of Vancouver.

University Golf Club is home to impressive practice facilities. The driving range is open throughout the year and features 20 covered stalls and 30 mats on grass depending on the season. Golf lessons for all ages and skill levels are available for purchase. University Golf Club is also proud to host the only TaylorMade Performance Centre in the Lower Mainland. The centre offers a premium club fitting experience that uses launch monitors and more to advise players during their club selection process.

University Golf Club’s address is 5185 University Boulevard in Vancouver’s Point Grey area. The course is close to the University of British Columbia, which makes it a convenient place for local students to work on their golfing skills.

Also nearby to the course is Pacific Spirit Regional Park which features multiple hiking, walking and cycling trails. Jericho Beach is less than 10 minutes away by car as well.

Green Fees

As of the spring of 2024, tee times are available up to 14 days in advance, but with dynamic pricing.

Adults pay about $60 to golf during prime time hours from Monday to Friday. On Saturday and Sunday the adult rate during prime time is about $65. The daily junior rate is about $50. Regular prices decrease every half hour beginning about 4.5 hours prior to sunset.
