The PoCo Car Show is an annual summer event with a barbeque, car cruise, car show, live entertainment and other activities in downtown Port Coquitlam.
In 2023 the car show takes place on the Saturday and Sunday of August 19th and 20th. On that same weekend elsewhere in the Lower Mainland there is the Chilliwack Pride Festival, Chilliwack Flight Fest, Ribfest Langley, PNE Fair and a number of other events. The Abbotsford Summer Flower Festival and Chilliwack Corn Maze are also open.

Downtown Port Coquitlam Car Show
The Port Coquitlam Car Show is a family-friendly event with all sorts of cars, live entertainment and fun activities to enjoy. The car show has been running most years since 2005. It’s a popular and well-attended event.
The 17th edition of the Port Coquitlam Car Show takes place on Saturday, August 19th, and Sunday, August 20th. Festivities begin with a barbeque dinner and traditional Car Cruise on the Saturday evening. The fun continues with a Car Show and street activities on the Sunday.
THE CIRCUS IS COMING TO THE TRI-CITIES!
Mark your calendars and tell your friends! The Circo Osorio Circus is at Coquitlam Centre Mall between October 19th and 30th in 2023. It’s also in Abbotsford, Surrey, Tsawwassen, Nanaimo, Victoria and Richmond between September 7th and October 16th. It’s a great circus that kids love! Circo Osorio is also very affordable!

Saturday Dinner & Car Cruise
The Port Coquitlam Car Show kicks off on the Saturday. The BBQ Dinner runs from 4:00 to 6:00 pm and is followed by the annual Car Cruise from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
During the Car Cruise, over 300 vintage and custom vehicles parade through Port Coquitlam’s downtown area starting at Leigh Square. Featured vehicles drive from Shaughnessy Street to Lincoln Avenue and up to Victoria Drive. The Car Cruise then turns south on Cedar Drive and continues along Fremont Drive, the Coast Meridian Overpass, Citadel Drive, and other streets. The cruise then concludes back at Leigh Square.

Sunday Car Show and Entertainment
The main Car Show takes place on a Sunday this year. The small area around Leigh Square between McAllister Avenue and Wilson Avenue is closed that day until after 6:00 pm. An impressive assortment of cars line the sides of the streets. The stationary car display features classic, muscle and rare vehicles to check out.
The Sunday event in 2023 also features local vendors, exhibitors and an area with activities for kids. From 11:00 am until 5:00 pm, children can rock climb, play carnival games and navigate through a fun obstacle course.
