The Etsy Holiday Pop Up Market is a Christmas craft fair featuring a few dozen local artisan vendors at the Pipe Shop in North Vancouver in late November.
The market happened on November 25th and 26th in 2023 and admission cost $5. Other similar markets happening that season at the same venue were Made in the 604 Markets (on Nov. 18th & 19th and Dec. 2nd & 3rd) and the Shipyards Christmas Artisan Market (on Dec. 16th & 17th). Both of those are also really good, and with them admission is free! Other terrific events are the Vancouver Christmas Market, West End Holiday Craft Fair and Hycroft for the Holidays in Vancouver.
Etsy Christmas Craft Fair
The Vancouver Etsy Collective organizes the annual Etsy Holiday Pop Up Market. It usually takes place in November at a venue somewhere around Vancouver.
In 2019 it happened in North Vancouver at the Pipe Shop. The year before it was at the Wesbrook Community Centre at UBC. In 2020, because of COVID-19, the event just happened in an online format. The event ran online again in 2021.
In 2022 the Etsy Holiday Pop Up Market returned as an in-person event at the Pipe Shop on a Saturday and Sunday in mid-November. In 2023, the event happened again at the Pipe Shop, this time on the weekend of November 25th and 26th.
The market typically features several dozen vendors all selling handmade goods and crafts. Expect to see items of all sorts, from home décor to clothing to food.
Market Details
The Etsy Holiday Pop Up Market takes place in the Pipe Shop at 115 Victory Ship Way in North Vancouver. The venue is located right in the Shipyards, just a short walk from the SeaBus.
After taking place as a virtual event in 2020 and 2021, the market returned to its regular in-person format in 2022. Last year the Etsy Holiday Pop Up Market ran on Saturday, November 25th, and Sunday, November 26th. Hours on both days were from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm.
Admission to the market in 2023 cost $5 online and at the door on the day of the event. Children ages 12 and under got in for free.
Details about the event will likely be the same in 2024, or at least similar, as they were last year.
