Vancouver Paddlewheeler Riverboat Tours is a sightseeing company that offers boat trips and cruise excursions along the Fraser River in New Westminster.
Vancouver Paddlewheeler Riverboat Tours
We at Vancouver’s Best Places have never actually been on one of their trips, but they sound enjoyable. Last time we checked, Google Reviews gave them a 3.8 score out of 5, and a bit higher with Yelp, so that’s pretty good.
If you ever happen to be in New Westminster and are wondering what to do, check them out.

St. Patrick’s Day Cruises
In the spring of 2019 Vancouver Paddlewheeler Riverboat Tours offers a couple of Irish-themed cruises. They are for adults only (ages 19+) and take place on Friday, March 15th, and Saturday, March 16th. Both trips run from 7:00 until 10:00 pm, cost about $42 (including taxes) and feature DJ music. Food and drinks cost extra.
TIP: If you like the idea of celebrating St. Patrick’s Day out on the water, but don’t want to head all the way to New Westminster, check out Vancouver’s Saint Patrick’s Day Boat Party which cruises around False Creek, English Bay and Vancouver Harbour on a 140-foot vessel, the Abitibi.
In 2019 the Vancouver-based (non-New Westminster) boat party takes place on Saturday, March 16th. Prices for it start as low as $30 (for groups of 10) or $40 (for single early-bird admission). The views of Vancouver on this party boat are amazing!
