Reaper’s Haunted Attraction & Maze of Terror

One of the Lower Mainland’s most impressive Halloween-themed places to visit is the Reaper’s Haunted Attraction at Fantasy Farms in October. The venue features a haunted house and “Maze of Terror” that fright seekers travel from all across the region to see.

In 2020 the haunted house part of the attraction didn’t happen, but the Maze of Terror did. In 2021 Fantasy Farms ran the Maze of Terror again. The Maze of Terror ran on select dates in October of 2022 as well. In 2023 the attraction runs from October 6th until Halloween night.

Reapers Video

To give you an idea of what to expect, check out the following video of the Reapers Maze of Terror. As you’ll see, it’s in a real corn maze and it’s really dark. There are a couple of sort-of indoor areas, and there are lots of live scary monsters!

This video was taken in October of 2021. It shows just a few of the scenes that we saw on our visit. It was pretty cool!

Petey’s Country Christmas at Fantasy Farms

Fantasy Farms is home to Chilliwack’s most popular interactive and family-friendly Christmas attraction in December most years. Petey’s Country Christmas usually runs from early December until late that month.

In years when the live event does take place, and at the farm, activities at Petey’s Country Christmas include beautiful lights and festive decorations to admire, a bouncy castle, light maze and miniature train rides. There is also Santa Claus to chat with and other activities suitable for young children and their families.

In 2021, instead of hosting activities at the farm, Fantasy Farms hosted an awesome new event in downtown Chilliwack. Chilliwack Country Christmas ran from December 4th to December 24th. The main event didn’t happen in 2022. In 2023 there was an event in the 1881 District in downtown Chilliwack instead.
