Fort Langley Beer Festival

Taking place in May each year, Brewhalla Fort Langley is the new name for the Fort Langley Beer and Food Festival which takes place in May.

The event features over 30 local craft breweries as well as cideries, wineries and food vendors. In 2024 it takes place on May 18th, which is the Saturday of the May Day Long Weekend. Other events happening that same weekend include the Cloverdale Rodeo & Country Fair and All British Field Meet (which is an amazing car show at VanDusen Gardens).

Brewhalla Fort Langley Beer & Food Festival

The Fort Langley Beer & Food Festival began in 2017. It’s a local event which focuses on local craft beer, wine and cider. There is also live music, entertainment and lots of food options. Visitors to the beer festival must be 19+ with two pieces of valid government-issued ID.

Brewhalla is a collection of similar festivals in four different cities in the Lower Mainland. In 2024 the first event is in North Vancouver. The second happens in Fort Langley on May 18th. The other two events take place in New Westminster and Chilliwack.

Where and When

The Fort Langley Beer Festival (or now Brewhalla Fort Langley) used to take place at the Fort Langley National Historic Site. However, the event has since moved to Fort Langley Park at 9089 Nash Street.

Brewhalla Fort Langley takes place at the park on Saturday, May 18th in 2024. The festival runs from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

General admission tickets cost about $45 per person. They include three beer tokens and a souvenir glass. Additional drinks and any food cost extra. VIP tickets are also available for $75 this year. They come with early access and four additional beer tokens.

JAZZ & BLUES IN FORT LANGLEY

Another fabulous event in Fort Langley is the Fort Langley Jazz & Arts Festival. It features both free and ticketed events, including the Cool Blues Show. The festival runs from July 25th to 28th and headliner bands include Rick Estrin & The NightcatsMiss Emily, Kenny “Blues Boss” WayneSilent Partners, and Tom Lavin & the Legendary Powder Blues. If you like Jazz and the Blues, you don’t want to miss this festival!

What to Expect

Brewhalla Fort Langley is a great event. As many as 3000 people attend it each year.

Over 30 breweries take part at the event in 2024, which is the most ever. Some of them are Trading Post Brewing, Moody Ales & Co., Sidekick Brewing, Locality Brewing, and Brave Brewing Company. All the breweries are from British Columbia.

There is live entertainment at the event as well. Artists that perform in 2024 include Antonio Larosa, Side One and A-Slam. At the event last year were Orchard Sky, Antonio Larosa, Laterdays, The Motown Show with Krystle Dos Santos and Mike Henry, Cambree Lovesy, AHSIA, Garrett T. Willie, Kate Yahn and The Bungalow.
