The Taste of Abby is a fall food festival in Abbotsford. It includes a market, guided circle farm tour, Harvest Fest event and other activities in September.
Note: Not to be confused with The Taste of Abby in Abbotsford in autumn, Taste of the Valley is a food-themed market event that takes place in February in Chilliwack at Chilliwack Heritage Park. The two events are unrelated. Both are really good, though, and involve food.
The main event during the Taste of Abby is the Night Market which happens on September 19th. Tickets for it cost about $40.
Other events you might also be interested in around the same time of year in the Fraser Valley include the Agassiz Fall Fair & Corn Festival (on September 12th & 13th) and Stinking Rose Garlic Festival in Chilliwack (on September 20th & 21st). Both of them have food and/or harvest themes too. Fun autumn-themed, family-friendly activities also happen at Maan Farms and Taves Family Farms in Abbotsford and both Fantasy Farms and Greendale Acres in Chilliwack.

A Taste of Abby Food Events in Autumn
The first Taste of Abby festival took place in 2022 and was a great success. The festival happens again this year from September 19th to the 28th. It features over a week of fun community events following the night market that kicks off the schedule.
Taste of Abby is meant to promote local restaurants as well as the Fraser Valley farmers who provide them with fresh, wholesome ingredients. Participating restaurants feature new items on their menus during the event and there are special offers on hand as well.
The Taste of Abby Night Market
The Taste of Abby Night Market is the beginning of the festival. In 2025 the Night Market happens on Friday, September 19th. This year, it runs from 5:00 to 10:00 pm at Jubilee Park.
Tickets this year for the market are $40.52 for everyone ages 13 and up. Kids ages 12 and younger enter for free with a paying adult. Along with admission each ticket includes eight tokens to get food and drinks from the various vendors at the site. Extra tokens cost $2.50 (or $4.19 each after taxes and online fees).
There are a variety of food trucks, brewing companies and wineries at the event, as well as food stalls from places like Maan Farms and Taves Family Farms. There’s live music at the market too.
