Abbotsford’s Taste of Abby Fall Food Festival

Taste of Abby

The Taste of Abby is a fall food festival in Abbotsford. It includes a market, guided circle farm tour, Harvest Fest event and other activities in September.

In 2023 the events ran from September 15th until the 24th. The calendar of events for 2024 is to be confirmed.

For tickets and full details about the festival, see the Taste of Abby website.

A Taste of Abby 2023

The first Taste of Abby festival took place in 2022 and was a great success. The festival returned in 2023 with over a week of fun community events following the night market that kicked off the schedule.

Taste of Abby is meant to promote both local restaurants as well as the Fraser Valley farmers who provide them with fresh, wholesome ingredients. Participating restaurants feature new items on their menus during the event and there are special offers on hand as well.

In 2023 people could enter to win an 18-ticket Abbotsford Canucks flex pack by simply eating at a participating restaurant.

The Night Market

The Taste of Abby Night Market is the beginning of the festival. In 2023 the Night Market took place on September 15th from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm in Jubilee Park.

Tickets this past year cost $35 for everyone ages 13 and up. Children under 13 years old have free admission. Along with admission each ticket includes eight tokens that can be used to get food and drinks from the various vendors at the site.

Sixteen different food trucks, brewing companies and wineries had been announced as participants in the 2023 Night Market as of mid-August. There was plenty more at the event, including food stalls with food and drinks from places like Maan Farms and Taves Family Farms. There was live music at the market as well.

For tickets and full details about the festival, see the Taste of Abby website.
