Made in the 604 Markets in Vancouver & the North Shore
Made in the 604 began in 2017 as both a market and a place of connection for local businesses. The Website’s Blog shines a spotlight on a variety of entrepreneurs and organizations in Metro Vancouver, but the biggest part of Made in the 604 are the regular pop-up markets.
There are two markets that run semi-regularly from the spring until late fall. One is on Vancouver’s Main Street at Heritage Hall and the other is in the Shipyards District in North Vancouver. The market also takes place at the North Shore’s Pipe Shop location every Friday from mid-May until mid-September as part of the Shipyards Night Market. There is a Christmas Artisan Market in North Vancouver in December too.
The markets have dozens of vendors that are local, small business owners and artisans. No admission fee is needed to browse the markets and there are plenty of different products to admire. You’ll find all kinds of unique and wonderful things to buy! And if you’re lucky, you might get a tasty food or drink sample too!
Locations and Schedule
The original Made in the 604 Market location is Vancouver’s Heritage Hall. The venue is in the Mount Pleasant neighbourhood at 3102 Main Street. After this first market proved successful, a second, larger market began at The Pipe Shop in North Vancouver. The Pipe Shop is located at 115 Victory Ship Way.
In 2025 there’s a market at The Pipe Shop in North Vancouver on the weekend of April 5th & 6th, as well as on every Friday between May 16th and September 12th. Markets at Heritage Hall run on the weekend of April 26th & 27th, plus on the Sundays of June 22nd, July 27th and August 17th.
Dates for the fall, winter and holiday pop-up markets in 2025 are to be confirmed.
The markets at Heritage Hall typically run from around 11:00 am until 5:00 pm each day. Hours of operation at The Pipe Shop in North Vancouver are usually similar (except for the ones that are part of the Shipyards Night Market in which case they run from 5:00 to 10:00 pm).
To learn more about the market when it’s on the North Shore, see our article about North Vancouver Made in the 604 Markets.

What to Expect
There isn’t a set lineup of vendors who are at every market, so the composition of the vendors changes each time. Some artisans are regulars, but many are not. The Heritage Hall market usually has around 40 to 50 vendors. The Pipe Shop market is bigger. At it you can expect as many as 70 or so vendors depending on the day.
The artisans are all local businesses with a range of different products. They sell clothes, ceramics, skincare products, food, pet care items and more. Both venues are dog-friendly, which is nice, so you can expect to see the occasional four-legged customer while browsing the markets.
