Brewery and the Beast is an all-inclusive, all-you-can-eat-and-drink culinary festival showcasing top local restaurants at Concord Pacific Place in Vancouver.
Last year the event happened on Sunday, July 27th (which was the same weekend as Chilliwack Ribfest in the Fraser Valley. Both events are great and involve lots of barbecued meats. Admission to the event in Chilliwack, however, is by donation.
Brewery and the Beast Food & Drink Festival
Brewery and the Beast is an all-inclusive culinary festival. Each ticket comes with unlimited food and drinks throughout the event. The festival features top local chefs and makers of adult beverages. Some of the region’s best restaurants participate. There are craft breweries, distilleries and producers of non-alcoholic drinks too. The event is a great opportunity to taste and discover new favourites from nearby establishments.
The Brewery and the Beast festival takes place in three different Western Canadian cities. In addition to the event in Vancouver, there are editions in both Calgary and Greater Victoria (in Langford).
The Vancouver event is held at Concord Pacific Place, located at 811 Carrall Street. It’s on the Science World side of BC Place Stadium. In 2026 Brewery and the Beast takes place on August 30th.
In 2025, Brewery and the Beast happened on Sunday, July 27th. It ran from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm for most people, but started an hour earlier for VIP ticket holders.
Food and Drink Vendors
There are a wide variety of food and drink options at Brewery and the Beast. Those who enjoy meat can enjoy dishes that feature duck, rabbit, elk, and wild boar, cooked into delicious meals. There isn’t much in the way for those who are vegetarian, or at least that was the case last year (the 2025 menu had not yet been released at the time of writing).
Participating restaurants in 2024 included Boulevard from the Sutton Place Hotel, Brewhall, Diva at the Met, Gordon Ramsay Burger, H2 Kitchen + Bar from the Westin Bayshore, La Taqueria, Tap & Barrel and close to 72 other restaurants and food providers.
There were also around 17 beverage presenters at the event last year. They included Central City Brewers, Driftwood Brewery, Main Street Brewing, Black Sage Vineyard, Strongbow Apple Cider, Black Stallion Estate Winery and others.
Admission Details
There are two types of Brewery and the Beast tickets on offer.
General admission usually costs about $200 including taxes and online fees. Again, these tickets included unlimited food and drink samples. 2026 details, however, are to be confirmed.
VIP tickets are also available for about $340 per person. In addition to unlimited samples, these tickets come with access to an exclusive experience one hour before the event opens to the public. There’s also a separate VIP entrance, a private bar and lounge, plus a few other perks.
