The Westin Bayshore has two main restaurants. The H2 Kitchen + Bar and the H Tasting Lounge. Both are exceptional and offer a wide variety of menu items. The H2 Kitchen focuses more on meats and the H Tasting Lounge focuses more on cocktails, fish and seafood.

MOTHERS DAY BRUNCH BUFFET

In 2026, H2 Kitchen + Bar hosts a Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet on Sunday, May 10th. It costs $115 for adults and children ages 12 and above. Kids ages 6 to 11 cost $60 and kids under 5 eat for free.

The buffet features a salad bar, charcuterie, cheeses and a smoked salmon display. There are also breakfast items such as eggs benedict, fried chicken and waffles, muffins, and pastries.

Other features include a prime rib carving station, pasta, dim sum, seafood, a kids’ station and a dessert table. The seafood station includes Dungeness crab legs, prawns and mussels. Desserts include mini cheesecakes, tarts and chocolate fondue.

The H2 Kitchen + Bar Restaurant

The H2 Kitchen + Bar is a popular restaurant that specializes in Southern-inspired dishes made with farm-to-table ingredients.

The dining establishment is located within the beautiful 4-star Westin Bayshore, Vancouver. The hotel is luxurious, nicely renovated and has stunning waterfront views. The restaurant is a casual and lively eatery with tasty comfort food, great cocktails and local beers on tap.

Formerly known as the H2 Rotisserie, the restaurant has rebranded to H2 Kitchen + Bar. The name change came with an awesome revised selection of food. While the popular rotisserie chicken options are still available, there is now an expanded selection of other slow-smoked Southern-style barbecued dishes, too.

Hours and Westin Bayshore Location

H2 Kitchen + Bar is open every day for breakfast. As of April 2026, breakfast runs from 6:30 am until 10:00 am on weekdays, and from 7:00 am until 10:30 am on Saturdays and Sundays. Dinner runs from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm from Wednesdays to Sundays.

The restaurant also offers daily deals. These include a family deal, Date Night Wednesdays, Burger & Brew Thursdays, Fry’d Chicken Fridays, Sippin’ Saturdays and Sunday Suppers. Details can change, so check the H2 Kitchen + Bar website before you go.

The restaurant is located at The Westin Bayshore Hotel which is one of Vancouver’s nicest and most prominent hotels. Located at 1601 Bayshore Drive, the hotel is situated along the Coal Harbour waterfront. It’s just steps away from the Seawall which is an excellent path for walking and cycling. H2 Kitchen + Bar is also only about a 10-minute walk away from Stanley Park (which is one of Vancouver’s best and most famous attractions).

Restaurant Menus

There are multiple menus at the H2 Kitchen + Bar, although most are only available at certain times.

The restaurant offers a large breakfast buffet with fruit, pastries, smoothies, charcuterie, eggs benedict, pancakes or French toast, hash browns, bacon, sausage and more. As of April 2026, the continental buffet costs $39, the full adult buffet costs $49, and the kids’ buffet for kids ages 6 to 12 costs $25. There are also separate a la carte breakfast dishes.

The main dinner menu features Southern-inspired comfort food and smokehouse meats. Starters include cornbread, sweet potato fries, crispy brussels sprouts, firecracker shrimp, poutine and nachos. There are also salads, burgers, sandwiches, fish tacos and pasta dishes.

The meat section features smokehouse meats served with two sides and a sauce. Options include smoked beef brisket, pulled pork, St. Louis side ribs and rotisserie chicken. The restaurant also has larger sharing boards, including the Meat Sweats platter, Smokehouse Platter and Carnivore’s Feast.

H2 Kitchen + Bar also offers local beers, wines and cocktails. Beers on tap feature breweries from Vancouver, Vancouver Island and other parts of BC.

The restaurant also has daily deals and special menus. These include Date Night Wednesdays, Burger & Brew Thursdays, Fry’d Chicken Fridays, Sippin’ Saturdays and Sunday Suppers. The Sunday Supper Series usually features a three-course menu with a rotating smokehouse-style main dish.

Our Experience at the Restaurant

We’ve eaten at the H2 Kitchen + Bar a couple of times since its renovations in 2022 and each time our experience has been exceptional.

We’ve enjoyed cocktails and dinner on the restaurant’s outdoor patio in the summer. Nikita Afonso played guitar on the evening we went. The music, dinner and ambience of the venue were all wonderful! We had the Cajun prawns and chorizo skewers for appetizers.

For our main course, we shared a meat platter. It was a real treat and big enough that we had leftovers to enjoy the next day. The platter included barbecued ribs, pulled pork and brisket, plus fries and grilled vegetables.

We’ve also had the breakfast buffet at the H2 Kitchen + Bar. One of us had the continental buffet, and the other had the full buffet. The buffet also included tea, coffee, juice and fruit smoothies. Both buffet options were excellent!

Seasonal Domed Dining

In addition to H2 Kitchen + Bar, The Westin Bayshore Hotel is also home to H Tasting Lounge. The lounge is famous for its seasonal domed dining experiences on the waterfront patio.

The domes are a great option for special occasions, date nights and small groups. They are especially nice for people wanting a private dining experience.

Winterlust 

In winter, H Tasting Lounge offers Winterlust. The domes feature glass panelling, sliding doors, heaters, fresh air circulation and independent sound systems. Each dome seats up to six guests. In 2026, Winterlust accepted reservations from January until March.

The Secret Garden

After winter, the domes usually change to a different seasonal theme. In spring of 2026, H Tasting Lounge offers The Secret Garden from March 9th until May 10th. The experience features a storybook picnic theme with florals, soft linens, woven baskets, cocktails and waterfront views.

The Secret Garden domes are open daily from 11:30 am until midnight. Minimum spends are $150 for weekday lunch, $200 for weekend lunch, $200 for dinner from Sunday to Thursday, and $250 for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays. Each dome fits up to six people.

(Note: It’s easy to reach the above minimum amounts for groups of six, five or even four guests. If you are a party of just one or two, however, you’ll either need to have a huge appetite, very expensive tastes or be willing to pay extra for your wonderfully exclusive experience.)
