The Chilliwack Fair and Rodeo is a country fair and agricultural exhibition that features farm animals, concerts and antique displays in early August.
In 2025 the fair celebrates its 153rd year. It’s dates will likely be August 8th to 10th (because it always happens on the weekend after BC Day). Other events that happened that same weekend last year include the Chilliwack Corn Maze, Abbotsford Airshow, and Brewhalla New Westminster. There is also the Shipyards Night Market in North Vancouver, BC Dumpling Festival in Coquitlam, African Descent Festival and a variety of other events.
To learn about the above and other events happening this month, see our August Calendar of Events. To learn about the Chilliwack Fair and Rodeo, continue reading.
