The Taste of Abby is a fall food festival in Abbotsford. It includes a market, guided circle farm tour, Harvest Fest event and other activities in September.
Note: Not to be confused with The Taste of Abby in Abbotsford in autumn, Taste of the Valley is a food-themed market event that takes place in February in Chilliwack at Chilliwack Heritage Park. The two events are unrelated. Both are really good, though, and worth checking out.

The Night Market | Festival Schedule | Other Information

A Taste of Abby
The first Taste of Abby festival took place in 2022 and was a great success. The festival happened again last year from September 13 to the 22nd, and featured over a week of fun community events following the night market that kicked off the schedule. Dates for 2025’s festival are to be determined. Community events are likely also to run over a week, though this is to be confirmed as well.
Taste of Abby is meant to promote both local restaurants as well as the Fraser Valley farmers who provide them with fresh, wholesome ingredients. Participating restaurants feature new items on their menus during the event and there are special offers on hand as well.
At last year’s event people could enter to win a one-hour helicopter ride for two people by simply eating at a participating restaurant.
For tickets and full details about the festival, see the Taste of Abby website.

The Taste of Abby Night Market
The Taste of Abby Night Market is the beginning of the festival. The Night Market happened on Friday, September 13th last year. It typically runs from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Jubilee Park.
Tickets last year were $40 for everyone ages 13 and up. Kids ages 6 to 12 got in for $10, whereas younger children entered for free with a paying adult. These prices may be similar in 2025, although exact details are to be confirmed. Along with admission each ticket includes eight tokens to get food and drinks from the various vendors at the site.
There are a variety of food trucks, brewing companies and wineries at the event, as well as food stalls from places like Maan Farms and Taves Family Farms. There’s live music at the market too including performances by Kyler Pierce, Greg Neufeld and Ryan McAllister.
For a better idea of what to expect at the next Taste of Abby Night Market, check out the video below. It was filmed at the 2023 event. The band performing is Velavox.
