Laity Farm Pumpkin Patches in Maple Ridge

Laity Pumpkin Patch is a large family-run farm located in Maple Ridge. In 2017, the place added a second location just across the street. The original location, now known as the North location, is designed for younger visitors. The newer location, called the South location, is geared for older children.

Both the North and South locations have large pumpkin fields stocked with gourds of all shapes and sizes. Expect to pay anywhere from $2 to $12 for pumpkins, with larger pumpkins being more expensive.

Where and When

Laity Pumpkin Patch is located in Maple Ridge. The farm is around a 35-minute drive from downtown Vancouver. The North location can be found at 21145 128th Avenue while the South location is on the other side of the road at 12725 Laity Street. It takes about 8 minutes to walk from one location to the other.

In 2023, the North location was open from September 30th until October 31st. The South location opened and closed one day earlier, meaning it operated from September 29th until October 30th. Hours of operation varied depending on the day and location.

Admission to the Laity Pumpkin Patches

Tickets can be purchased online for weekends and holidays in October. However, tickets for most weekdays are only available at the gate.

In 2023, general admission to each pumpkin patch cost $10 on most weekdays and $13 on weekends. Children under the age of 3 were admitted for free with a paying adult. 2024 prices will likely be similar.

Laity North Pumpkin Patch

The farm’s North location is the original site of the Laity Pumpkin Patch. This location is ideal for children ages 6 and under.

There are several farm-themed attractions at Laity North such as a farmers play centre where kids can pretend to milk a cow, gather eggs and drive a tractor. Children can also go on a hay wagon ride. Other attractions most years include a themed forest walk, one-acre family corn maze, obstacle course, panning for gold station and a petting zoo.

Laity South Pumpkin Patch

Laity’s South location is the newest addition to the pumpkin farm and has been operating since 2017. Each year the attraction expands and adds more activities. In 2019, the farm opened its pumpkin cannon and expanded its Western Pumpkin Town. New for 2020, the games area was expanded and the farm added some new picture display areas.

The Laity South location is ideal for children ages 4 and up.

Similar to the North location, Laity South has a petting zoo and corn maze. However, the corn maze at the South location is twice the size, at two acres. Other unique attractions at Laity’s South location include a right-turn-only maze, glow-in-the-dark garden, family games area, Western Pumpkin Town and a Pumpkin Cannon.
