The Aldergrove Christmas Light Up Parade is an annual event in the Metro Vancouver community of Aldergrove in East Langley in early December.

Christmas Parade in Aldergrove
Aldergrove celebrates the Christmas season most years with a parade at night along the Fraser Highway on the second Saturday in December.
The parade and party were cancelled in 2020 due to COVID-19. In 2021, the parade took place on December 11th. In 2022, the Christmas Light Up Parade returned on Saturday, December 10th. It began at 6:00 pm.
The parade typically features over three dozen entries and goes from Old Yale Road to around 271st street. It’s a small parade, but a nice one. Entries include trucks with pretty lights, tractors and a few floats. Expect to see fire trucks, Santa Claus and various community organizations and businesses in the parade.
After the 2019 parade, the community was invited to an after-party at Elks Hall which is located at 27309 Fraser Highway. The festivities there included choir performances, face painting, crafts and other family-friendly activities and entertainment.
In 2022, folks were invited to a pre-parade gathering at 5:00 pm. There were free activities for all to enjoy at Aldergrove Plaza, located at 272nd Street and Fraser Highway. There was food, drinks and live entertainment at the event.
