Langley’s Community Day

Langley Community Day

Community Day is a free family-friendly event with live entertainment, play zones, market vendors, food trucks and more at Douglas Park in Langley.

The event took place in 2022 on June 18th which was the Saturday just before Father’s Day. In 2023 the date is Saturday, June 10th.

There were over 30 vendors on-site at the event in 2022 offering tasty treats and unique things to buy. 2023 will likely be the same.

The City of Langley hosts a Community Day event in Douglas Park most years. As its name suggests, the annual event is an outdoor celebration of the community. In years when the event takes place, there are lots of family-friendly activities to enjoy on-site.

In 2019, Langley’s Community Day celebrated its 25th anniversary on Saturday, June 15th. Unfortunately, the event didn’t happen in 2020 or in 2021, at least not to our knowledge, due to COVID-19.

Community Day returned on Saturday, June 18th, in 2022. It ran from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm. Community Day returns again in 2023 and happens on Saturday, June 10t. As it has done in the past, the event is at Douglas Park which is located at 5403-5409 206th Street in Langley. The park is on the same block as the Douglas Recreation Centre and Douglas Park Community School.

Another large component of the event is presented by the Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival and it is back in 2023.
