Some of the activities attendees can normally take part in include mini golf, rock climbing, an inflatable farm, obstacle course, and more! There is a beer garden for adults to enjoy as well.

The event also has a small market with around 25 vendors. High quality products on sale include jewellery and finely scented soaps.

Another large component of the event is presented by the Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival and it’s back in 2025. Based on last year, expect close to 20 food trucks at Douglas Park offering everything from poutine and mac & cheese to mini donuts and ice cream.

Tips & Suggestions

Below are tips that will help you make the most of Langley’s Community Day event.

TIP #1: Either on the same day or a different day, sometime when you’re in the Langley region, drop by the Fort Langley National Historic Site for a look around. It’s a very interesting place! And children ages 17 and under get free admission!

TIP #2: Don’t go to Langley Community Day with a full stomach! There are so many food trucks to choose from! Unless you want to save some money by bringing your own snacks, treat yourself to fresh and yummy treats at the event.

TIP #3: There are so many different kinds of food to choose from. If you go with friends or family, buy a number of food items to share.

TIP #4: Another terrific event in Langley in the summer is the Fort Langley Jazz & Arts Festival. In 2025 it takes place on July 24th to 27th. If you like live music and Jazz, you’ll definitely want to attend this event when it returns next year. You’ll want to take in some of the concerts at the Vancouver International Jazz Festival too!
