Halloween Boat Parties

Last year there were three different Halloween-themed cruises on the weekend before Halloween night. As of mid-August in 2024, only the Halloween Havoc Boat Party is scheduled to return. This year, it takes place on Friday, November 1st.

Vancouver Boat Parties at Halloween

A fun way to dance away the night while also taking in the sparkling sights of the city is on a party cruise. Vancouver Boat Parties is one of the top companies in the city for just those sorts of cruises.

There were three different Halloween boat parties in 2023. Two departed from Coal Harbour by the Westin Bayshore Hotel. The other cruise launched from False Creek by Pacific Boulevard, and it’s the only one set to return in 2024 as of mid-August.

The Halloween-themed events usually include top Vancouver DJs, dancing, spooky decorations and people in costumes. Halloween costumes aren’t required, but they are encouraged!

At the Halloween Boat Party — Halloween Boat Partiers

Halloween Havoc Boat Party

Friday, November 1st, 2024

The Halloween Havoc Boat Party runs from 8:00 pm until midnight. The cruise departs from 760 Pacific Boulevard at 8:30 pm.

This event happens on the Burrard Queen. The boat party features two levels full of dancing and music, along with a premium bar and viewing deck. There’s a mix of Top 40, Hip-Hop, R&B, Throwback and more.

The least expensive tickets begin at about $40 but prices increase as the event gets closer. Regular admission prices range up to about $80. (Tip: If attending a Halloween Boat Party, it’s best to book your spot sooner rather than later when possible. These cruises sell out most years!)

Halloween Boat Party and Latin Halloween Boat Party

Note: These two boat parties may or may not return in 2024.

The Magic Spirit offered two different parties at the same time last year. They both ran from 8:00 pm until midnight and departed from 1601 Bayshore Drive at 9:00 pm. The cruise was full of people dancing and having a good time on separate decks. There was a licensed bar on board as well.

The Halloween Boat Party in 2023 featured Hip Hop, R&B, Throwback, and Mashup music. Folks were encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes. Meanwhile, the Latin Halloween Boat Party had a spooky all-white dress code and featured Salsa, Reggaeton, and Latin Tropical tunes.

Tickets to each event were priced the same in 2023. Early bird admission started at about $30, whereas regular admission cost up to $85 per person.
