The Fort Langley Village Farmers Market is a medium-sized market that takes place on Saturdays outside a church in the historic town of Fort Langley.
In addition to being a farmers market with fresh fruits and vegetables, it also offers a selection of arts and crafts, not to mention wines and the occasional other adult beverage.
In 2023 the market runs from April 15th until December 2nd.
Fort Langley Village Farmers’ Market
Operating since 2011, the Fort Langley market is a fair-sized market. It’s a good one which makes Saturdays opportune times to visit Fort Langley, the area and the town’s historic Hudson’s Bay Company fort. In the spring and early summer the market is fairly small. By August, however, it grows to a good size and features dozens of vendors.
When and Where
In 2023 the Fort Langley Village Farmers Market runs from April 15th until December 2nd (which is a couple of weeks less than last year).
The market takes place on Saturdays between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm in the parking lot at 9025 Glover Road outside St. Andrews Historic Church.
Glover Road is the village’s main street which is lined with large old trees and heritage buildings. The market is just a few blocks from the town’s historic cemetery, restaurants, curiosity shops, antique stores, coffee shops and the Fraser River. It’s also less than a 15-minute walk to the fort.

About the Market
Good days to visit the market include any Saturday that you’re in Fort Langley anyway, as well as sunny days in the summer and on special occasion weekends like around Mother’s Day, Victoria Day, Canada Day, BC Day, Labour Day and Thanksgiving.
On long weekends, like those listed above, the market is especially vibrant and the town’s fort sometimes offers special activities. Also, occasionally, like on the Victoria Day weekend, the market is open on an additional day, so not just on the Saturday.
How many vendors are at the Fort Langley Village Farmers Market? That depends a bit on the day, but typically it’s a medium-sized market with between about two and a half and four dozen or so stalls selling everything from local produce to jams, handcrafted art, baked goods and Fraser Valley wines. The market starts out small in late spring and grows in size as the summer progresses.
