The Fort Langley Village Farmers’ Market is a medium-sized market that takes place on Saturdays outside a church in the historic town of Fort Langley.
In addition to being a farmers market with fresh fruits and vegetables, it also offers a selection of arts and crafts, not to mention wines and the occasional other adult beverage.
In 2024 the market runs from April 6th until December 7th.
TIP: Combine your trip to the market with a visit to the Fort Langley National Historic Site. It’s a most interesting place, especially when it has special events like Brigade Days which happen on the BC Day Long Weekend of August 3rd to 5th.

Fort Langley Village Farmers’ Market
Operating since 2011, the Fort Langley market is a fair-sized market. It’s a good one which makes Saturdays opportune times to visit Fort Langley, the area and the town’s historic Hudson’s Bay Company fort. In the spring and early summer the market is fairly small. By August, however, it grows to a good size and features dozens of vendors.
When and Where
In 2024 the Fort Langley Village Farmers’ Market runs from April 6th until December 7th.
The market takes place on Saturdays between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm in the parking lot at 9025 Glover Road outside St. Andrews Historic Church.
Glover Road is the village’s main street which is lined with large old trees and heritage buildings. The market is just a few blocks from the town’s historic cemetery, restaurants, curiosity shops, antique stores, coffee shops and the Fraser River.
TIP: Looking for something else to do while in the area? The Fort Langley Village Farmers’ Market is a 15-minute walk away from the Fort Langley National Historic Site. It’s an interesting place full of artifacts, exhibitions and old structures. There are sometimes special events at the historic site as well. For more information about the fort, visit the Parks Canada website.
About the Market
Good days to visit the market include any Saturday that you’re in Fort Langley anyway, as well as sunny days in the summer and on special occasion weekends like around Mother’s Day, Victoria Day, Canada Day, BC Day, Labour Day and Thanksgiving.
On long weekends, like those listed above, the market is especially vibrant. Also, occasionally, like on the Victoria Day weekend, the market is open on an additional day, so not just on the Saturday.
How many vendors are at the Fort Langley Village Farmers’ Market? That depends a bit on the day, but typically it’s a medium-sized market with between about 30 and 48 or so stalls selling everything from local produce to jams, handcrafted art, baked goods and Fraser Valley wines. The market starts out small in late spring and scales up as the summer progresses.
Some of the vendors with stalls at the market in 2024 include Wilde Wunder Gardens (sells fresh fruit, vegetables and plants), Happy Wanderers Cattle Co. (sells meat) and Golden Meadows Honey Farm (sells local honey).
