Events This Weekend in Vancouver
Highlights of the long weekend of February 13th to 16th, 2026, are FAN EXPO Vancouver, LunarFest, Team Canada FanFest, the Spring Festival at the Greater Vancouver Zoo, and Love Lights at Capilano Bridge. There are also various Valentine’s Day activities and Family Day Long Weekend activities.
For those who like theatre, Barefoot in the Park shows at Metro Theatre and Così fan tutte is at Queen Elizabeth Theatre with Vancouver Opera. There is also The Baking Show Show: The Play at Presentation House Theatre in North Vancouver as well as improvisational theatre at The Improv Centre on Granville Island and multidimensional films at Flyover at Canada Place.
Other things to do this weekend include walking tours with Forbidden Vancouver, outdoor adventure games with Vancouver Mysteries, and indoor virtual reality games with Zero Latency. There are also lots of great museums to visit including the Chinese Canadian Museum, Vancouver Maritime Museum, Fort Langley, Britannia Mine, Museum of Surrey and many others. This time of year there are also snow sport activities at Lower Mainland Ski Hills (assuming there is enough snow).

OTHER UPCOMING EVENTS
Highlights of the long weekend of February 20th to 22nd, 2026, are Love Lights at Cap Bridge, Black History Month Events, Brazilian Carnaval and Fort Langley Historic Half Marathon. There is the Chinatown Spring Festival Parade as well as Lunar New Year events like LunarFest, The Lantern City, and LNY at the Chinese Canadian Museum. Lunar New Year events also happen at Metropolis at Metrotown, International Village Mall, Aberdeen Mall and other venues.
For folks who want to see a show, on the North Shore there is the play Art with First Impressions Theatre and a Movie Singalong: Moulin Rouge! at Presentation House Theatre. In Vancouver there is Comedy at The Improv Centre on Granville Island. Where Have All the Buffalo Gone shows at Gateway Theatre in Richmond. There is also the Forever Seger: The Silver Bullet Experience Bob Seger tribute concert at Massey Theatre in New Westminster. At Flyover at Canada Place, there are the films Awaken Canada Legendary Iceland.
