Brewery and the Beast is an all-inclusive, all-you-can-eat-and-drink culinary festival showcasing top local restaurants at Concord Pacific Place in Vancouver.
In 2026, Brewery and the Beast takes place on Sunday, August 30th. The event features more than 60 restaurants and chefs from Vancouver and Whistler.
Earlier in the month, Rib Fest Langley also takes place, which is another great food event to check out in the Lower Mainland.
Brewery and the Beast Food & Drink Festival
Brewery and the Beast is a culinary festival featuring top local chefs and adult beverage makers.
The festival is a good event for people who enjoy barbecue, meat dishes, chef-led food stations, craft drinks and outdoor events. It is especially popular with people who like trying food from many restaurants in one place.
Some of the region’s best restaurants participate. There are craft breweries, distilleries and producers of non-alcoholic drinks too. Many dishes are cooked over an open flame, and the event focuses on responsibly sourced Canadian ingredients.
When and Where
The festival takes place in several Canadian cities. In 2026, there are events in Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver and Vancouver Island in Greater Victoria.
This year, Brewery and the Beast takes place on August 30th in Vancouver. The event happens at Concord Pacific Place, located at 811 Carrall Street on the Science World side of BC Place Stadium.
The main event runs from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm. VIP ticket holders can arrive at 1:00 pm for a one-hour exclusive experience before the main event begins.
Food and Drink Vendors
There is a wide variety of food and drink options at Brewery and the Beast. The 2026 event features more than 60 restaurants and chefs from Vancouver and Whistler.
The focus is on live-fire cooking, meat, local ingredients and bold flavours. Guests can expect dishes from restaurants, chefs, caterers and food producers. Those who like meat can enjoy dishes featuring duck, rabbit, elk, and wild boar, all cooked into delicious meals. There isn’t much in the way for vegetarians, or at least that was the case in previous years.Â
Participating restaurants in the past have included Boulevard from the Sutton Place Hotel, Brewhall, Diva at the Met, Gordon Ramsay Burger, H2 Kitchen + Bar from the Westin Bayshore, La Taqueria, Tap & Barrel and close to six dozen other restaurants and food providers.
The drinks side of the event includes craft beer, cocktails, premium wines, cider, hard teas, seltzers and non-alcoholic options. There were around 18 beverage presenters at the event last year. They included Central City Brewers, Driftwood Brewery, Main Street Brewing, Black Sage Vineyard, Strongbow Apple Cider and Black Stallion Estate Winery.
We expect a similar lineup of vendors in 2026. However, exact details are yet to be confirmed.
