20TH ANNIVERSARY OPEN HOUSE
In celebration of its 20th anniversary, the Scotiabank Dance Centre hosts an open house event on Saturday, October 2nd, in 2021. The event runs from 1:00 until 6:00 pm and admission is free.
The open house events include a performance by Aeriosa which is a Vancouver-based aerial dance company. They’ll be performing outdoors up high on the wall of the Dance Centre’s building. The open house will also feature performances by other groups as well.

The Dance Centre
The Dance Centre is the name of both a Vancouver-based non-profit organization and a venue. Founded in the mid-1980s, the non-profit operates the building and hosts various events and dance-related programs.
The Dance Centre, the venue, is home to half a dozen dance studios and a small theatre. Since its opening in 2001, over 1.2 million people have attended its shows, rehearsals and dance classes.

The Dance Centre’s address is 677 Davie Street. It’s at the corner of Davie Street and Granville, so in the heart of Vancouver’s entertainment district. It’s just a 5-minute walk from places like Robson Square, the Commodore Ballroom and Yaletown.
