Fantasy Farms is an attraction in Chilliwack that hosts terrific seasonal events including A Night of Illumination Easter egg hunting events for adults.
The farm is where you’ll find Petey’s Easter Eggstravaganza in the spring each year, and both Petey’s Pumpkin Patch and Reaper’s Maze of Terror for Halloween in autumn.
In 2026 Fantasy Farms hosts two different Easter events. There is Petey’s Easter Eggstravaganza, which takes place during the day, and Glow Nights, which happens at night. For full details about both events, see the fantasyfarmsinc.ca website
EASTER GLOW NIGHTS IN 2026
A Night of Illumination was an Easter-themed event with cool lights in the dark for ages 19 and above. The adults-only event happened in 2024 and 2025.
A similar event is happening again in 2026, except it’s open to all ages. Glow Nights take place on March 27th and 28th, as well as on April 2nd to 5th. The event runs from 7:00 to 10:00 pm each night and features a glow in the dark Easter egg hunt, unique photo opportunities, fire pits, s’mores, and other family-friendly activities. Tickets cost about $18 per person.
For more information about this year’s event, see the official Fantasy Farms website. Continue reading below to learn about the adults-only Easter event that happened last year.

What to Expect
If it returns in the future, you can expect a fun time at A Night of Illumination (and at the other Easter events at Fantasy Farms too). Details from the 2024 event are below. The experience in 2025 was likely similar, but with the inclusion of a train ride.
Before The Egg Hunt
After checking in a couple years ago, you received a drink ticket and special UV light glasses. You then walked through a magical corridor full of glowing, colourful, three-dimensional displays. At the end was a large room where you met your hosts.
Everyone then headed out to an outdoor patio-like spot with seating areas and about six fire pits. It was a beautiful place to hang out, chat with friends, enjoy a drink or two, and wait for the Easter egg hunt.
When the time was right, everyone headed to the special egg-hunting grounds.
The Glow-in-the-Dark Egg Hunt
The egg hunt happened outdoors in a wide-open, enclosed area that was decorated with brightly coloured giant mushrooms, flowers, an Easter egg tree and other displays, all of which glowed in the dark. Participants raced out in search of eggs of different colours. Participants needed to find one egg of every colour to win a prize. There was a single unique egg too. If you found that, you got a bonus prize!
The egg hunt was a lot of fun a couple years ago. It wasn’t too difficult. The eggs were easy to find. Everything glowed in the dark, which made for a cool and almost psychedelic experience.
Post-Egg-Hunt Hanging Out
After the egg hunt, everyone returned to the outdoor seating area at the fire pits to enjoy some food. Drinks were available from the bar and everyone enjoyed the rest of the evening with their friends.
