Maan Farms Haunted Halloween Corn Mazes in Abbotsford in 2025

Maan Farms at Halloween

Maan Farms is a farm that hosts kid-friendly pumpkin patch activities in the fall. It’s also home to some really scary corn mazes during the Halloween season.

This article has information about the farm’s scary haunted mazes, which are designed for young adults to experience at night. They aren’t for little kids or the faint of heart. For details about the farm’s kid-friendly activities, see our article about Maan Farms Pumpkin Forest.

Some of the Fraser Valley’s other best and scariest haunted house attractions that we recommend are Reaper’s Maze of Terror in Chilliwack, Cougar Creek’s House of Horrors in Surrey, and Brinkworth Dungeon in Langley. All of those are exceptional! New for 2025, there is also DreadWorlds Realm of Horror which is also in Langley, as is Grave Tales, which are wonderfully spooky walking tours that have been taking place in Fort Langley for years.

Elsewhere in the Lower Mainland, there is Fright Nights at the PNE which is one of the most popular Halloween attractions in all of Canada. For folks who like spooky things that aren’t totally freaky, there is also family-friendly Canyon Frights at Capilano Bridge.

Haunted Corn Mazes at Maan Farms

Located at 790 McKenzie Road in Abbotsford, Maan Farms has more than one corn maze. In 2025 there are three different mazes suitable for all ages during the day in the fall, plus the new frightfully fun Forest Pumpkin Patch experience at night. As usual, there are ultra-scary Halloween experiences available as well. All together, the four evening experiences make up the new Halloween Fright Festival.

Maan Farms has three main haunted attractions. They are The Slaughterhouse, The Way Down, and 3D CarnEvil. Last year there was also Homestead. It’s not there anymore. 3D CarnEvil has taken its place.

The Slaughterhouse bills itself as “the scariest corn maze in Canada.” For The Way Down, guests have to wear a hood over their heads for a pitch black haunt. New for 2025, 3D CarnEvil is a full-touch experience in which guests wear 3D glasses. All of these haunts are fun and scary!

The haunted attractions at the farm are open on select dates between late September and the start of November.

The Haunted Corn Maze

The haunted corn mazes at Maan Farms are some of the scariest and most extreme haunted attractions in BC. They are definitely some of the best!

Similar to recent years, the corn maze in 2025 has a Slaughterhouse theme. There’s a butcher with a chainsaw that guests have to escape from by navigating through the maze.

When & Where

The scary haunted attractions at Maan Farms run on weekends as well as most (but not all Thursdays) between late September and the beginning of November. In 2025 they operate on September 27th, October 3rd and 4th, 9th to 12th, 16th to 19th, and 23rd to 26th. They also run on October 29th to November 1st.

The super-scary attractions operate on just the above dates, as does the Frightfully Fun Forest Pumpkin Patch experience. Between September 13th and November 2nd, Maan Farms also hosts Fall at the Farm which is a family-friendly event during the day with a pumpkin patch and fun activities for children.

Maan Farms’ address is 790 McKenzie Road in Abbotsford. It’s about a 10-minute drive from the Abbotsford Airport.

What to Expect

If you visit Maan Farms on a dark, fall night, you can expect to see lots of people (especially young adults) having fun. You’ll also see the occasional monster-like character wandering around the country store, parking lot and entrance to the attraction. Dozens more ghastly creatures await in the maze.

When you go inside the maze attractions, you’ll find some of the scariest creatures and scenes you have ever encountered!

We’ve been to Maan Farm’s haunted mazes a number of years and have always been thoroughly impressed. The mazes go in one direction only, so you won’t get lost. You also won’t likely run into any other guests, at least not inside the maze or its various structures. What you will find are dozens of live actors in ghastly costumes.

In addition to walking through the maze, there are a number of other structures to explore. Inside these buildings are hallways and rooms filled with wonderfully frightening scenes. People are being tortured, mad scientists are conducting experiments, psychopaths are in pain and monsters want to eat you!

Slaughterhouse Video

The following video shows scenes from inside the Slaughterhouse last year. The attraction features dozens of live actors screaming, writhing in agony, and looking absolutely terrifying. It’s an impressive event!

The Way Down Video

Below is a video we recorded during our experience at The Way Down from last year. There are different rooms full of things that people find terrifying. During this particular haunt you have to wear a hood (which makes it even scarier)!

Other Things to Know

Below is some useful information to help you make the most of your haunted corn maze experience.

  • The event takes place rain or shine, so bring a raincoat if necessary. Boots are also highly recommended as the ground can get muddy, even on days when it doesn’t rain.
  • To ensure not too many people are in the maze at any one time, don’t expect to go in right away. You will have to wait a while for your turn.
  • The scary experiences aren’t recommended for children under the age of 14, people with nervous dispositions, pregnant women or people with heart issues. There are special effects, which may include strobe lights, so the experiences also aren’t recommended for people with sensitivities to flashing lights.
  • Don’t complain if the experience gives you nightmares afterwards. You’ve been warned!
  • Tickets are non-refundable.
