A working dairy farm located in Langley in the Fraser Valley, Eagle Acres Dairy offers year-round educational visits as well as a pumpkin patch in October.
Eagle Acres Farm
Eagle Acres Dairy is a family-run farm near the historic town of Fort Langley. Its main focus is its milking cows, but it also raises other animals and grows pumpkins. The farm also runs educational programs.
Farm Activities at Eagle Acres
Eagle Acres is a working dairy farm that has a variety of farm animals for people to interact with and learn about. It has cows, horses, pigs, goats, sheep and other small animals.
Visitors can also do a self-guided tour of the dairy barn most of the time. This is usually included in the price of admission and it features educational displays about the farm animals. In addition to the animals, guests can also check out R2D2 the milking robot.
Eagle Acres also runs seasonal events. In the spring it hosts an Easter event and in the fall it has a pumpkin patch.

The Eagle Acres Pumpkin Patch
A new addition since 2018, the pumpkin patch at Eagle Acres is a great family-friendly activity. With admission, guests can access the farm activities listed above as well as the pumpkin fields. To get to the fields, visitors get to enjoy a short hay ride. There’s also usually a small corn maze for younger visitors.
The event in 2020 and 2021 was very different from most years. Instead of parking and exploring the farm on foot, visitors in those two years were able to explore the farm from the safety and comfort of their own cars, “SaFarmi-style.” The 2021 edition also included a corn maze and the ability to walk around the farm on foot, although social distancing was still encouraged.
In 2023 the SaFarmi Stroll and Maze is similar to the 2021 and 2022 editions. Guests can check out over 200 animals on foot and try feeding cows. Hayrides to the pumpkin patch and corn fields are also available.
Admission and Hours
General admission to Eagle Acres costs $14 plus GST for adults and $12 plus GST for children and seniors. Toddlers under two and seniors aged 65 and over have free admission. You can save a dollar on each ticket if you purchase your ticket online. Pumpkins are sold based on size, and cost anywhere from $2 up to about $12 or so.
In 2023 the pumpkin patch is open most days from October 1st until Halloween. It’s only closed on October 3rd to the 6th, 11th to the 13th, 17th, 20th, 24th and 27th. The patch is open from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm on weekdays and from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on weekends and Thanksgiving.
