Eagle Acres Farm
Eagle Acres Dairy is a family-run farm near the historic town of Fort Langley. Its main focus is its milking cows, but it also raises other animals and grows pumpkins. They also run educational programs.
Eagle Acres is a working dairy farm that has a variety of farm animals for people to interact with and learn about. They have cows, horses, pigs, goats, sheep and other small animals.
Visitors can also do a self-guided tour of the dairy barn most of the time. This is usually included in the price of admission and it features educational displays about the farm animals. In addition to the animals, guests can also check out R2D2 the milking robot.
Eagle Acres also runs seasonal events. In the spring they host an Easter event and in the fall they have their pumpkin patch.
The Eagle Acres Pumpkin Patch
A new addition since 2018, the pumpkin patch at Eagle Acres is a great family-friendly activity. With admission, in years when there isn’t a global pandemic, guests can access the farm activities listed above as well as the pumpkin fields. To get to the fields, visitors get to enjoy a short hay ride. There’s also usually a small corn maze for younger visitors.
The event in 2020 and 2021 was very different from most years. Instead of parking and exploring the farm on foot, visitors in those two years were able to explore the farm from the safety and comfort of their own cars, “SaFarmi-style”. The 2021 edition also included a corn maze and the ability to walk around the farm on foot, although social distancing was still encouraged.
Admission and Hours
General admission to Eagle Acres in 2021 cost $12 for adults and $10 for children and seniors. Pumpkins are sold based on size, and cost anywhere from $2 up to about $12 or so.
The pumpkin patch was open on Tuesdays to Sundays from October 1st until Halloween. It was open from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on weekdays and 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on weekends.
In 2021, SaFarmi Strolls could be booked on select days in September, such as the 4th-6th, 11th and 12th, and 18th and 19th. Access to the corn maze cost an extra $5 for all ages.
2022 details are to be confirmed as of February.
