Langley’s Eagle Acres Dairy Farm and Pumpkin Patch

Eagle Acres Dairy Farm

A working dairy farm located in Langley in the Fraser Valley, Eagle Acres Dairy offers year-round educational visits as well as a pumpkin patch in October.

Because of COVID-19, the pumpkin patch experience at Eagle Acres was different in 2020 from past years. It was scheduled to run from October 1st until the 31st, but in a “Safarmi”-style where visitors got to explore the farm from the comfort and safety of their cars.

Eagle Acres Farm

Eagle Acres Dairy is a family-run farm near the historic town of Fort Langley. Its main focus is its milking cows, but it also raises other animals and grows pumpkins. They also run educational programs.

Farm Activities

Eagle Acres is a working dairy farm that has a variety of farm animals for people to interact with and learn about. They have cows, horses, pigs, goats, sheep and other small animals.

Visitors can also do a self-guided tour of the dairy barn. This is included in the price of admission and it features educational displays about the farm animals. In addition to the animals, guests can also check out R2D2 the milking robot.

Eagle Acres also runs seasonal events. In the spring they host an Easter event and in the fall they have their pumpkin patch.

The Eagle Acres Pumpkin Patch

A new addition since 2018, the pumpkin patch at Eagle Acres is a great family-friendly activity. With admission, in years when there isn’t a global pandemic, guests can access the farm activities listed above as well as the pumpkin fields. To get to the fields, visitors get to enjoy a short hay ride. There’s also usually a small corn maze for younger visitors.

The event in 2020 was very different from most years. Instead of parking and exploring the farm on foot, visitors in 2020 were able to explore the farm from the safety and comfort of their own cars, “Safarmi-style”.

Details for the 2021 pumpkin patch experience are to be confirmed.

Admission and Hours

General admission to Eagle Acres usually costs around $9, or $45 for a family. Pumpkins are sold based on size, and cost anywhere from $2 up to about $12 or so. Prices in 2020 were different, and visitors were charged on a per-car basis.

Eagle Acres is a cash-only farm, but there is an ATM available on-site.

The pumpkin patch was open every day from October 1st until the 31st in 2019 and it went from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm each day. In 2020 the dates were the same, but with more limited times.
