Canada Day in the Township of Langley
Before the COVID-19 pandemic, the largest Canada Day celebrations in Langley were typically held in Fort Langley. However, after hosting virtual events in 2020 and 2021, the Township of Langley’s main July 1st celebrations moved to a new location.
In 2022 Langley’s main Canada Day event took place in-person at Aldergrove Athletic Park. The venue is located at 26845 27th Avenue in Aldergrove (which is a community in Langley). The festivities at the new location were in the park’s North Complex. 2022’s event ran from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm on July 1st. Details of Canada Day events for 2023 are still to be confirmed.
Although Langley’s largest July 1st festivities moved to Aldergrove in 2022, there are still other Canada Day celebrations taking place in Fort Langley. To learn about what’s happening there see our Canada Day in Fort Langley article.
