Langley Community Farmers Market is a weekly summer market featuring fresh local produce, artisan goods, prepared foods and live entertainment.
The markets take place at Douglas Park on Wednesdays in Langley City and Thursdays at the Langley Events Centre. Admission is free.
Markets at Douglas Park and the Langley Events Centre
The Langley Community Farmers Market has been connecting local farmers, food producers, artisans and shoppers since 2009. The market has grown into a popular summer tradition that supports local agriculture and small businesses throughout the Langley area.
The market focuses on locally-grown produce, farm-fresh foods, handmade products and unique artisan creations. Visitors can shop directly from farmers, makers and vendors while enjoying a welcoming community atmosphere. It’s a smaller market, but a good one.
In 2026 the market operates at two locations including Douglas Park in Langley City and the Langley Events Centre in the Township of Langley. The Douglas Park location works in partnership with the City of Langley’s Sounds of Summer Concert Series while the Langley Events Centre location takes place alongside the Township’s Summer Nights Concert Series.

When and Where
The Langley Community Farmers Market runs from early June until late August each year.
Markets take place on Wednesday evenings at Douglas Park in Langley City (at 20550 Douglas Crescent) and on Thursday evenings at the Langley Events Centre in the Township of Langley (at 888 200 Street).
Both locations operate from 5:30 pm until 8:30 pm throughout the summer season.
What to Expect at the Market
The market offers a wide variety of products that are fresh, ethical, sustainable and locally sourced. The Langley Community Farmers Market features fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, dairy products, baked goods and prepared foods from local producers throughout the Fraser Valley and surrounding communities.
Seasonal produce, fresh ingredients and locally-made products are available for shoppers to support local farmers and small businesses. There are more than 30 farmers, makers and food vendors participating throughout the season. They aren’t all at every event at the same time, however. At the Douglas Park venue, for example, there were a dozen or so when we last went.
At the market, a selection of artisan vendors offers handmade crafts, specialty products, gifts and locally-created goods. Community-focused businesses and organizations also participate throughout the season.
Live music and other entertainment are available at both market locations, adding to the festive summer atmosphere. Musical performances create an enjoyable environment where visitors can shop, relax and spend time with family and friends.
