Maple Ridge Happenings Activity & Concert Series in 2022

Maple Ridge Summer Happenings is a series of events with a different concert or activity on a couple of days each week between July and August. Sometimes there are one or two musicians. On other dates there might be an art exhibition or family-friendly sports activities.

On Wednesday evenings there is usually some kind of kid-friendly theme, like “Family Games Night” or “Bounce the Park”. With the former you can play things like giant Jenga or checkers with your children. With the latter you can expect lots of fun jumping and bouncing activities.

On Friday evenings there are five dates when there is a concert with a local musician or band. There is also a Youth Battle of the Bands event, a Latin Dance Night and a Polynesian Dance Night.

At the beginning of the summer, complementing the Maple Ridge Summer Happenings series of events, there were also dance performances at the park in June as part of the city’s National Indigenous People’s Day celebrations.
