Hoppy Heights at Capilano Suspension Bridge

Capilano Suspension Bridge is a popular place to check out on the North Shore. In fact, it’s one of the most visited attractions in all of Metro Vancouver. The park hosts various events throughout the year, including Love Lights in February, Canyon Frights in October for Halloween, and Canyon Lights during the Christmas season. In the spring of 2024, the attraction also offers the Hoppy Heights event.

Hoppy Heights is an Easter-themed event that begins in the second half of March. It makes Capilano Suspension Bridge Park even more exciting for children during the school Spring Break holidays. At the site there are playful Easter decorations and displays to see. Kids can also work on Echo Eagle’s Exploration activity. They get to search for Easter eggs scattered around the attraction and mark down their findings on paper. Children who complete the activity receive a small prize.

The spring event also features beautiful sights to see. Of course, the park features a large suspension bridge over the Capilano River. There are also walking paths and an amazing Cliffwalk to experience. The attraction features various tours and an exhibit with live hawks, owls and falcons as well.

Ticket Prices at Capilano Bridge

The Hoppy Heights experience is included with general admission to Capilano Suspension Bridge. Unfortunately, the Treetops Adventure area was closed throughout the Easter-themed event in 2024. On the bright side, tickets are 10% off because of the closure. Online ticket prices for the spring season are listed below.

  • Adults (ages 18 to 64) – $59.95
  • Seniors (ages 65+) – $55.45
  • Students (ages 18+ with ID) – $48.25
  • Youth (ages 13 to 17) – $32.95
  • Children (ages 6 to 12) – $23.95
  • Little Kids (ages 5 & under) – Free

Tickets at the gate cost a few dollars more. For the best rates, purchase your tickets online in advance.

TIP: Residents of British Columbia can usually get an annual pass for the same price as general admission, which is an excellent deal. This is still the case in the spring of 2024, but only for folks who pay full admission (so without the 10% discount because of the Treetops Adventure closure).

Hoppy Heights at Easter Video

To get an idea of what Capilano Suspension Bridge Park looks like, watch the short video below. We took our pet dog/Easter bunny friend with us to the attraction soon after Hoppy Heights first opened in 2024. The video shows scenes of the venue in general, plus one of the park’s Easter-themed displays. (Note: When you go you won’t see the cute little rabbit featured in the video. He just went with us that one day.)
