Taking place in May each year, the Fort Langley Beer and Food Festival features over 30 local craft breweries as well as cideries, wineries and food vendors.
The Brewhalla Fort Langley Beer & Food Festival
The Fort Langley Beer & Food Festival began in 2017. It’s a local event which focuses on local craft beer, wine and cider. There is also live music, entertainment and lots of food options. Visitors to the beer festival must be 19 years of age or older with two pieces of valid government-issued ID.
The event was cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic and returned in a smaller format in the fall of 2021.
The 2022 festival was on May 21st, in the middle of the Victoria Day Long Weekend, as part of the new Brewhalla Beer & Music Festival series. Brewhalla is a collection of similar festivals in three different cities in the Lower Mainland. The first event was the Fort Langley Beer Festival. The second, Brewhalla Port Moody, is on August 5th and 6th in 2022. The third festival, in North Vancouver, happens on September 30th.

Where and When
The Fort Langley Beer Festival (or now Brewhalla Fort Langley) used to take place at the Fort Langley National Historic Site. The event has a new location in 2022, however, as it has moved to Fort Langley Park at 9089 Nash Street. Like in past years the festival ran from 12:30 pm to 6:00 pm in 2022.
The cost of admission this past year was around $40 for everyone. Admission included three beer tokens and a souvenir glass. Additional drinks and any food cost extra. 2023 details will likely be similar.
What to Expect
Over two dozen breweries took part at the event in 2022. They included Trading Post Brewing, Moody Ales & Co., Category 12 Brewing and several others. All the breweries were from here in British Columbia.
