The Hyatt Regency Vancouver is a large 4-star hotel in downtown Vancouver. It has a heated outdoor pool, restaurants, a spa and conference space.
HOTEL CLOSES AND THEN REOPENS
As a result of the coronavirus pandemic and the resulting drop in demand for hotel accommodations in the spring of 2020, Vancouver’s Hyatt Regency ceased operations temporarily. According to the hotel’s website, it was not “accepting room, restaurant, bar, or other reservations until May 11th, 2020.” That date was then later pushed back until June 1st.
As of the middle of June, the hotel is open for reservations. As of that date, however, the its business centre, fitness room, bar services and swimming pool are all still closed. The only food services offered are those at the Starbucks in the hotel lobby. Hopefully more services will resume operations soon!
For more details about the closure and the status of the hotel see the Hyatt Regency‘s website.
