Lonsdale Quay and Public Market
Known for its iconic Q tower, Lonsdale Quay is a landmark feature of the North Vancouver waterfront. The area has a walking path along the ocean that connects Waterfront Park to the Shipyards District and everything in between.
Within Lonsdale Quay is the Lonsdale Quay Public Market. The market features over 60 vendors selling a variety of goods and services. Most of the vendors in the market are independently-owned and operated, which makes shopping there especially unique and enjoyable.

The Shipyards is an interesting neighbourhood in the Lower Lonsdale area. The area features attractions such as Shipbuilders’ Square, which hosts concerts in the summer, as well as the Pipe Shop, which is a restored historic building.
One of the newest additions to the district is Shipyard Commons which is home to the biggest outdoor skating rink in Metro Vancouver (although it didn’t operate in the winter of 2020/2021 due to COVID-19).
