North Vancouver’s Seaside Hotel

Seaside Hotel at the Shipyards

One of North Vancouver’s newest hotels, the Seaside Hotel can be found in North Vancouver’s vibrant Shipyards District in the Lower Lonsdale area.

The Seaside Hotel in North Vancouver

The Seaside Hotel is a small, modern hotel in North Vancouver. All 71 rooms feature a personal in-room Crave tablet, espresso machine and motorized window blinds. Pets are also welcome (at an extra cost).

The hotel’s address is 130-125 Victory Ship Way which is in Lower Lonsdale’s Shipyards District. Just a few minutes’ walk away from the hotel is the SeaBus terminal which connects the North Shore with downtown Vancouver. Other places of interest in the Lower Lonsdale area include Lonsdale Quay, with its large public market, and a selection of restaurants and small shops.

Right outside the hotel is Shipyard Commons. It’s a large covered plaza where ice skating takes place in the winter and events happen at different times of the year.

In front of the hotel and Shipyard Commons is the Burrard Dry Dock Pier which stretches out into Burrard Inlet. Also known as Shipbuilders’ Pier, it’s a nice place to walk along and admire the views of both the City of Vancouver in the distance and North Vancouver’s Lower Lonsdale waterfront.

About the Hotel

While the hotel is not a huge multi-national chain, it is home to several convenient amenities. The place has an on-site restaurant, full-service spa, and conference centre facilities. It’s a nice place and part of the Vancouver-based Executive Hotels & Resorts chain.

The Seaside Hotel does not have an on-site fitness centre. However, Method Cycling studio is located on the second floor of the building. Hotel guests receive 15% off sessions at the cycling studio.
