Bay'score at Westin Bayshore

The Westin Bayshore is a really nice resort-style hotel in Vancouver’s Coal Harbour. It hosts special events sometimes, including during FIFA in 2026.

The Westin Bayshore Hotel is home to the H2 Kitchen + Bar and H Tasting Lounge restaurants. It’s also where you’ll find outdoor patio dining in exclusive glass domes during Winterlust and in the spring season.

Between June 11th and July 19th in 2026, the FIFA World Cup is in Vancouver. And guess where Team Canada will be staying? At the Westin Bayshore of course. And to celebrate the World Cup, the Westin Bayshore is hosting Bay’Score!

Kickoff Series Conversations

In addition to the Bay’Score in the Bayshore Grand Ballroom, the hotel also hosts a Kickoff Conversations Speaker Series at the H2 Kitchen + Bar.

The first event is with Bob Lenarduzzi on June 17th. He helped lead the Whitecaps to their 1979 NASL Soccer Bowl victory.  Lenarduzzi is also a member of the Canada Soccer Hall of Fame. The second event takes place on June 20th with Carl Valentine, who is another Hall of Fame inductee and local soccer icon.

Both events begin at 12:30 pm and cost about $65 to attend. They feature relaxed conversations with the featured guest of the day, along with food, a beverage, and priority seating for a live match broadcast following the talk.

Winterlust & the Secret Garden Domed Dining

The H Tasting Lounge hosts their Winterlust event from November until February. It’s a domed dining experience on the restaurant’s outdoor patio. Each Nordic-style structure seats up to six people and features private climate control. The festive experience offers a fun, cozy and Christmas-themed environment for small groups each winter.

In the spring, the H Tasting Lounge offers a similar experience in the same domes, but with a different theme. The Secret Garden is a fancy, storybook, picnic-style affair complete with soft linens, floral decorations, and seasonal flavours to enjoy.

For more details about the domed dining experiences, see the official Winterlust and Secret Garden pages.

LEVEL UP Games Room During the Winter Holidays

During the Christmas holiday season the hotel transforms the Bayshore Grand Ballroom into a giant games room for its guests. The LEVEL UP Games Room is a 15,000-square-foot neon-lit arcade. It’s where you’ll find classic games like Pac-Man as well as air hockey and even pickleball. There are also video games you can play on giant screens on the walls. The LEVEL UP Games Room is impressive and complimentary for the hotel’s overnight guests.
