Greendale Acres Farm and Attraction in Chilliwack
Up until just a few years ago, Greendale Acres was called the Chilliwack Corn Maze and Pumpkin Farm. The corn maze and pumpkin patch are still featured attractions at the farm, but there is plenty more on offer too. The new name makes total sense as the farm is open at various times of the year, not just in late summer and early fall.
The farm attraction is open to the public on a number of days in the spring between the end of March and early to mid-May. The farm then opens back up in August for its corn maze season that runs until the end of October.
The venue hosts various events over the course of the year, including Sweet Spring between mid-April and mid-May. The farm is also available for private rentals.
For the attraction’s official website, visit greendaleacres.ca.

Where is Greendale Acres
Greendale Acres is located at 41905 Yale Road West in Chilliwack. It’s across the street from the Chilliwack Golf Club.
Hours and Rates
Below is information about the venue’s hours, operating season and admission rates. (Note: Exact details are subject to change.)
The farm doesn’t usually open up for the season until Easter (when the holiday falls in March) or for the Sweet Spring Flower Festival (which happens from the end of March until mid-May). After that, the place is normally closed until August, before it operates daily during the late summer and early fall for the Chilliwack Corn Maze. Hours vary from month to month.
In 2026 Sweet Spring runs from March 27th until around May 3rd. Between these dates, the farm is open from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on most Thursdays and Fridays and from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
On the Friday of April 24th, however, the place is open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm for Grandparents Day, which is when all grandparents can enter for free.
How Much Does it Cost?
The admission cost remains fairly steady for most of the year, from spring until fall. Expect to pay around $16 to $24 for everyone between the ages of 3 and 74, depending on what events are going on.
Season passes are normally available, which provide unlimited admission for the calendar year. When offered, they are a really good deal, especially if you live in the Fraser Valley region and plan to visit the farm a few times.
For full details about the farm’s activities, visit the Greendale Acres website.

What to Expect at the Farm
There are a number of family-friendly attractions and activities at Greendale Acres. One of the favourites for children is the giant jumping pillow which works like a trampoline. In addition, there’s the chance to go around a track on pedal carts, tackle a ropes course and tire mountain, and play lots of fun games.
At the farm there are animals to see including chickens, goats and turkeys. Some of the farm animals are outside and others are indoors. There is also an indoor hay bale maze and various rustic, country-style midway games. Greendale Acres also offers tractor rides that go out into the fields sometimes, and when it’s blooming season there are a couple of smaller fields full of beautiful flowers to enjoy.
In the summer and early autumn, the farm sells freshly-grown corn. When open to the public for family-friendly activities, there’s a concession stand with snacks and drinks including pizza, hot dogs and ice cream. Greendale Acres is a very interesting place with lots to see and do!
Animals you’ll likely find at the farm include pigs, rabbits, goats, chickens and sheep. You might also see an alpaca and a turkey.

Greendale Events
Various events take place at Greendale Acres. Below is information about some of the biggest ones.
Chilliwack Plowing Match
A Chilliwack tradition, the 2026 Plowing Match on April 11th is the 104th edition of the annual affair. At the event a number of local farmers bring their equipment and see who can plow the most field in the shortest time.
The day begins with a pancake breakfast at Greendale Acres and there are designated spectator areas to take in the competition. There’s also live music. Tickets to the event in 2026 are $16 for adults and $12 for seniors. Admission includes access to the rest of the farm. The pancake breakfast is by donation with proceeds benefiting a local charity.
To learn more about the event, see our article about the Chilliwack Plowing Match. To see what the event looks like, watch the following short video.

Easter Egg Hunt at Greendale Acres
The annual Easter egg hunt takes place across two weekends in 2026. It happens on March 27th to 29th, and also on April 2nd to 5th. On each of the seven days, guests are able to explore the farm’s apple orchard for hidden eggs.

In addition to the Easter egg hunt and other kid-friendly activities, there is normally live music on the long weekend. The same as at other times of the year, there are also fire pits for people to rent, plus various play structures for children to enjoy.

During the Sweet Spring season there are a couple of small fields of tulips and other flowers to admire. There are also all the farm’s usual kid-friendly activities like the hay bale maze, tricycle race track, climbing structures, jumping pillows, country-style arcade games and farm animals to see.
Admission to Sweet Spring in 2026 is about $16 for everyone between the ages of 4 and 74. Smaller children and older seniors enjoy free admission. For more information about the farm this time of year, click Sweet Spring at Greendale Acres.

Chilliwack Corn Maze
Probably the biggest attraction at the farm each year is its corn maze which is one of the best in the province. It covers up to about 12 acres and over half of the entire Greendale Acres property! The maze usually opens sometime in August and runs until the end of October.
Last year the event started on August 1st and ran until October 31st. The maze’s theme was all about bees and how important they are to the planet.
To learn more about the corn maze see our article about the Chilliwack Corn Maze.
For full details about the corn maze and the farm’s other activities, visit the Greendale Acres website.

Chilliwack Corn Festival
Along with the corn maze comes the Chilliwack Corn Festival in early August! This was a new event in 2024, and it happened again on August 2nd, 3rd and 4th last year.
Along with live music and a number of kid-friendly activities, at this event there were corn eating and shucking competitions, and a cornhole tournament for adults. The cost to enter the Chilliwack Corn Festival was about $18 online and $21 at the gate last year.
For more information about this event check out our Chilliwack Corn Festival article.

Sundown Music Series and Other Live Entertainment
On weekends in August there is the Sundown Music Series which features local artists performing evening shows at the farm. There is also live music on special festival days.
The cost to attend most performances is the same as regular admission to the farm. The events are open to those of all ages, but there is alcohol served for those who are 19+.

Golden Hour Flower Workshop
New in 2024 was this workshop which treated participants to an evening of making flower arrangements. These workshops returned last year. 2026 details are to be confirmed.
Tickets last year cost $45 and came with scissors, demonstrations and a variety of flowers to work with. Visitors were encouraged to bring their own vases to take their creations home with them.
In 2025 the Golden Hour Flower Workshops happened on the Thursdays of August 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th, as well as on September 4th. They ran from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
Pumpkin Patch
Greendale is home to one of the many Pumpkin Patches in the Lower Mainland. Usually open from the end of September until Halloween, you used to be able explore over 12 varieties of pumpkins grown on the farm. As of 2024, now, instead of an actual pumpkin patch field, Greendale Acres has a giant Pumpkin Pyramid. It’s impressive! Elsewhere on the farm there are plenty of pumpkins that aren’t your typical orange Jack-o-lantern-style gourds too. Last year the Pumpkin Pyramid opened on the weekend of September 27th and 28th.

Christmas at Greendale Acres
Last year and the year before, Greendale Acres transformed into a Christmas attraction during the winter holiday season. Last year was the Christmas event’s final year, however. It’s not happening in 2026.
When it did happen. Christmas at Greendale Acres featured beautiful Christmas light displays that could be enjoyed in two different ways. Guests could ride a train through the decorations or walk along a peaceful illuminated path. Greendale Acres also hosted a scavenger hunt, Christmas Market, Santa’s Workshop and other interactive activities over the holiday season. Last year Christmas at Greendale Acres opened on November 22nd and ran until December 23rd.
For more information about the holiday event, see our article about Christmas at Greendale Acres.
