Abbotsford’s Maan Farms sells fresh produce. It also has kids’ play areas as well as a pumpkin patch, corn maze and other Halloween activities in autumn.
The fall and Halloween-themed activities at the farm run from mid-September until the beginning of November. There are family-friendly activities as well as super-scary Halloween attractions. The pumpkin patch is a “pumpkin forest” which is really cool.

Fall at the Farm and Halloween Activities at Maan Farms
Maan Farms is a great place for fresh fruits, vegetables and kids’ activities for most of the year. The farm grows its own produce. The site also has a Barnyard Adventureland that’s several acres big and full of play structures and other fun activities for children.
The farm has its Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze in the fall. Both are great activities for families with young children. Kids get to pick their Halloween pumpkins in the forest and explore the corn maze.
Note: Maan Farm’s Haunted Corn Maze is a serious Halloween attraction that’s designed for serious fright seekers. It takes place at night, along with three other scary experiences. Fall at the Farm activities, which are described below and include a family-friendly corn maze, are for children and families. Both are exceptional, and at the same venue, but also very different and for different audiences.

Where and When?
The pumpkin patch and other fall activities at Maan Farms run from mid to late September until around Halloween. Last year the farm operated from September 13th to November 2nd and will likely operate around the same time in 2026.
The venue’s address is 790 McKenzie Road in Abbotsford. It’s about a 90-minute drive from downtown Vancouver. The place can get quite busy during weekends in October. If you want to go on those days, budget some extra time in case there’s a line to get in.
While the Fall at the Farm activities only run from September until Halloween or just after, the farm itself typically opens to visitors in April. Check out our Maan Farms article to learn about what the area has to offer during the spring and summer.

The Pumpkin Patch at Maan Farms
Around 12 Lower Mainland farms have pumpkin patches in the fall. The one at Maan Farms is exceptional. Not only does this event involve pumpkins, but it also features farm animals and children’s play structures and activities. Other places with farm animals, pumpkin patches and kid-friendly activities in the Fraser Valley are Fantasy Farms, Greendale Acres and Taves Family Farms. All four of these places are very popular and lots of fun.
Instead of buying your Halloween pumpkin at a supermarket, going to a real farm and to a pumpkin patch makes for a fun and family-friendly tradition. The pumpkin patch at Maan Farms is typically situated in a beautiful forest. There are also tiny themed houses to explore.
Families can head over to the forest, select their pumpkins and then pay for them based on size. It’s a lot of fun. There are also dog-friendly days on select dates, as well as goat yoga sessions, trivia nights and other special events.
Most Lower Mainland farms with pumpkin patches have hundreds of pumpkins in their fields. Maan Farms usually has thousands. See further below for more information about admission rates.
Pumpkin Patch Video
Check out the short video below for an idea of what to expect at the pumpkin patch at Maan Farms.
The video was taken early in the season in 2024. The forest was full of pumpkins and the setting was beautiful. If you can’t find the perfect pumpkin here, you won’t find it anywhere.
The Corn Maze at Maan Farms
Maan Farms has a great corn maze. It’s very kid-friendly. The maze runs in the late summer and early fall, and then again during the venue’s Halloween season.
The maze is about seven acres big. Admission to both it and the farm’s Barnyard Adventure comes with the cost of entry to Fall at the Farm. Last year there were three corn mazes to explore on-site.
In addition to the family-friendly corn maze, Maan Farms has a separate Haunted Corn Maze which claims to be the “scariest corn maze in Canada” (and we agree that it’s one of the best). Unlike the regular family-friendly maze, this other one is recommended only for serious fright seekers.

Fall Admission Rates at the Farm
The autumn event at Maan Farms runs from mid-September until early November. The Fall at the Farm pass allows you to visit the pumpkin patch plus the family-friendly corn mazes, farm animals, and all the play structures in Barnyard Adventureland. New for 2025, there was also a Dinosaur Den with animatronic dinosaurs to check out.
When purchased in advance online, Fall at the Farm prices vary based on a couple of factors. Last year, on most weekdays, tickets cost $19 for everyone ages 3 years and older. During weekends, general admission was $25. On holiday weekends, admission cost $3 more. The cheapest Fall at the Farm passes were on Tuesdays when they cost $16.50 each. Expect these prices to be similar in 2026, though exact details are to be confirmed.
VIP tickets are also available every day for around $50. Purchasing such a ticket gets you a pumpkin voucher, a drink, a bag of animal feed, and one free admission pass for another weekday that season. The most expensive type of ticket is the Treat Pass for about $55, which comes with all of the above plus mini donuts and line-skipping privileges for the concession.
All passes include access to the corn maze and several other farm attractions including the pumpkin patch. Tickets for the full range of fall activities (excluding the Haunted Corn Maze and other scary attractions) are booked in specific time slots.
