The Langley Christmas Village is a new attraction debuting in 2026. It’s a large Christmas Market with around 100 local vendors and live entertainment.
The Langley Christmas Village
New in 2026, the Langley Christmas Village is an attraction run by the same people behind the Shipyards Christmas Market in North Vancouver which celebrates its third year in 2026.
As of early July, there aren’t yet too many details on what exactly the Langley Christmas Village will look like. We do know that it runs from November 25th to December 24th, and that there’s expected to be around 100 market stalls at the event each day. It will likely be similar in size to the North Vancouver market, or possibly even bigger!
Where and When
The inaugural Langley Christmas Village opens its doors on November 25th in 2026. The holiday attraction then runs daily until December 24th (i.e., Christmas Eve). The operating hours are from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm the rest of the week. (Note: Exact times and other details are subject to change.)
As of early July there’s no official announcement on where the Langley Christmas Village will be set up. It’ll likely be somewhere in or around downtown Langley.
Admission to the market is free! That makes it a little different compared to some other Christmas markets where you have to pay to get in. Everyone is welcome to come out and explore what’s on offer, and enjoy the live entertainment.
What to Expect
The Langley Christmas Village will likely be set up in a similar way to the Shipyards Christmas Market. The organizers expect there to be around 100 vendor stalls in the village. Some of them are smaller pop-up stalls while others are large enough for customers to walk around in. All of the stall structures are getting imported from Europe!
There will be live entertainment at the village. The Shipyards Christmas Market in North Vancouver features live performances from choirs, roaming entertainers and more. The Langley market will likely have similar kinds of individuals and groups performing.
The Langley Christmas Village is set to include a Santa Chalet where kids can meet and take pictures with Santa. There will likely also be miniature curling rinks. Overall, at the attraction you can expect a very festive atmosphere with plenty of lights and holiday treats.
More Christmas Events in the Area
The Christmas Village is the newest big holiday event happening in and around Langley. Other popular ones to check out include Christmas Glow which features a dazzling display of Christmas lights and family-friendly activities. It’s set up at the Milner Village Garden Centre.
There’s also Merry & Bright, an attraction set up at Martini Town which is a film backlot just south of Aldergrove. The buildings on the set are decorated for Christmas each December and there’s a small artisan market there as well.
For those who want to see some nice, free light displays there’s Holiday Lights in Williams Park. That attraction is open in the evenings. It’s a drive-through experience where people enjoy the lights from the comfort of their own vehicles. The Magic of Christmas festival is another free event that happens in downtown Langley in early December.
