Morgan Creek Golf in Surrey
Morgan Creek is a par 72 golf course that plays 6955 yards from its championship tees. Players of all skill levels are welcome as there are four other tee boxes to play from as well.
Although we haven’t played the course ourselves, it is said to be well maintained throughout the year. Morgan Creek also claims that the course stays dry, which is unlike most other courses in Metro Vancouver. We hope to check out the course ourselves before too long to confirm these details and provide a more comprehensive review.
The course at Morgan Creek was designed by Thomas McBroom who is a well-known Canadian-based architect and golf course designer. The venue features thick trees between its fairways along with well-placed hazards. There are also great views of Mount Baker to enjoy (at least on clear sunny days).
Morgan Creek has a few practice facilities, including a driving range with grass tees and separate chipping and putting greens that golfers use to warm-up.

Some of Vancouver’s top golf courses we’ve played at recently and have written articles about include Pagoda Ridge, Redwoods and Meadow Gardens. Another one of our favourite places is the Sandpiper Resort near Harrison Hot Springs (which is also a wonderful place to stay overnight). All four of these places are highly recommended.
Other places of interest near the golf course include Darts Hill Garden Park, Elgin Heritage Park and Crescent Beach.
