Special Father’s Day Meals in the Lower Mainland

What better way is there to treat a father or grandpa than a delicious brunch or a fancy dinner? Father’s Day takes place in the middle of June each year and many restaurants in Metro Vancouver offer special menu items or deals to celebrate.

Below is a list of places that normally offer Father’s Day specials. As of late May, 2025 details for some restaurants are to be confirmed.

 

Father’s Day Meals on the North Shore

Below are restaurants in North Vancouver worth checking out on Father’s Day.

 

The Lobby Restaurant and Lounge

The Lobby is located inside the Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier at 138 Victory Ship Way, right next to The Shipyards. The restaurant offers a series of Father’s Day features on a special menu in 2025.

The offerings this year include breakfast items, appetizers, entrees, signature cocktails and discounts on certain drinks. Fathers and their children can chow down on some grilled lamb chops, half shell scallops, lobster and much more.

Pier 7 Restaurant + Bar

Pier 7 Restaurant + Bar is located at 25 Wallace Mews, directly across the street from The Lobby. In fact they’re owned by the same company!

Like The Lobby, Pier 7 normally offers a variety of options for a Father’s Day meal. 2025 details, however, are to be confirmed.

Last year there was a braised short rib benny brunch special, as well as a three course dinner menu. The benny was $25, while the dinner cost $70. For those who wanted an extra special meal there was also a wagyu tomahawk platter that came with truffle potatoes, prawns and seasonal vegetables. It was $225.

Father’s Day Meals in Vancouver

The following are restaurants in the City of Vancouver to go to on Father’s Day.

 

H2 Kitchen + Bar

The H2 Kitchen + Bar is located in the Westin Bayshore Hotel at 1601 Bayshore Drive. It has an annual dinner special each Father’s Day as part of its Sunday Supper Series.

In 2022 the menu included smoked CAB prime rib and buttermilk mashed potatoes with toffee pudding for dessert. In 2023 the menu featured slow-smoked ribs, again with buttermilk mashed potatoes.

Westin Bayshore Hotel Vancouver

 

P2B Bistro & Bar

Located inside the Pinnacle Hotel Harbourfront at 1133 West Hastings Street, P2B Bistro & Bar has a selection of Father’s Day specials.

In 2025 P2B offers a burger & beer combo from June 13th to 15th after 11:30 am each day. Also, on June 15th after 3:00 pm, prime rib is 20% off for the rest of the day.

Tutto Restaurant

Located at 901 Homer Street in Yaletown, the Tutto Restaurant & Bar specializes in authentic Italian cuisine.

In 2024 the restaurant offered a couple of Father’s Day features on the menu. The featured main course was pan seared filet mignon with garlic butter king prawns for about $60. There was also a special Mark Ryan Monkey Wrench wine available. 2025 details are to be confirmed.

Drag Brunch at the Waldorf

In 2025 the Bacon & Leggs Father’s Day Brunch is a family-friendly drag show on Sunday, June 15th, with What the Frock Productions. It happens at the Howe Sound Taphouse & Kitchen at the Waldorf Hotel at 1489 East Hastings Street in Vancouver.

The event isn’t a brunch buffet. Rather, it’s a la carte off the menu. Admission is by donation, but you need to book your spot in advance (and then pay for whatever food you order).

 

What the Frock Productions

 

Mosaic Grille & Bar

Mosaic Grille & Bar is one of the dining options at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver, located at 655 Burrard Street. In 2025 the restaurant offers a Father’s Day BBQ. Exact details are to be confirmed.

Last year’s Father’s Day BBQ was $80 for adults (ages 13 to 64), $65 for seniors and $40 for kids ages 6 to 12. There were plenty of both hot and cold dishes to choose from including grilled tomahawk steak, Oysters Rockefeller, smoked beef brisket and multiple kinds of salads. There was also an ice cream station with a number of different toppings.

Dockside Restaurant

Located at 1253 Johnston Street inside the Granville Island Hotel, Dockside Restaurant went all out for Father’s Day in 2023. The restaurant offered both a bottomless brunch from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm as well as a steak dinner special from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

The brunch cost $70 for adults and $35 for children and featured over 12 different items on the menu including bennies and various sandwiches. The dinner cost $65 per person and included wagyu beef carpaccio, filet mignon and tiramisu.

Improv Centre

 

ARC Restaurant

ARC Restaurant usually offers a couple of different options on Father’s Day. Located inside the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel at 900 Canada Place, there’s normally the regular weekly bottomless brunch as well as a Father’s Day steak dinner.

In 2025 the brunch runs from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm on Saturdays and Sundays and costs $65 per person. Details about the Father’s Day specials are to be confirmed. Last year featured a steak dinner with a 50oz tomahawk meant to have fed four to six people. It was $225 and available sides included salads, pastas and mashed potatoes.

Notch8 Restaurant & Bar

Notch8 is located at 900 West Georgia Street, inside the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver which is one of the most famous buildings in the city.

The restaurant doesn’t usually offer specific Father’s Day themed events, but it does have a regular Sunday brunch buffet. The Notch8 buffet runs from 11:15 am to 2:15 pm and costs $65 for adults and $32.50 for children. There is a well-rounded menu including a variety of brunch cocktails.

Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar

Like Notch8, Boulevard Kitchen doesn’t always have special Father’s Day meals, but it does have a regular weekend brunch. The restaurant is inside the Sutton Place Hotel at 845 Burrard Street.

As its name implies, Boulevard offers a wide variety of seafood options including oysters. There is a designated raw bar that offers items like prawn cocktails and a big seafood tower.

Globe@YVR

Located inside the Vancouver International Airport in Richmond, Globe@YVR offers a Father’s Day BBQ Tower Experience in 2025.

Available from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm, the lunch costs $69 per adult. It includes a massive BBQ tower and a maple old fashioned cocktail. The tower features sliders, baby back ribs, prawn skewers, Rockefeller Oysters and a number of sides. There’s also a kids platter available for $30.
