National Day for Truth and Reconciliation – a statutory holiday that commemorates the history of the residential school system in Canada. Events happen in Vancouver, Coquitlam, Delta, Maple Ridge, New Westminster, Surrey, White Rock and other communities.
Empowering Voices Through Art – a National Day for Truth and Reconciliation event at Coquitlam’s Place des Arts.

Brahm’s Tam Drum Circle – drumming takes place at Stanley Park’s Third Beach if the weather is sunny from early evening until sunset. Free!
