- Participate with friends at an Oktoberfest event.

- Go for a walk or bike ride along the seawall at False Creek or Coal Harbour.
- Take in all the many Halloween festivities around town.
- Head to Harrison Hot Springs for one or two nights for the hot springs and fall colours.
- Buy a new umbrella in preparation for the next six months or more of rain.
Vancouver Weather in October
The weather in the Lower Mainland in October is generally very nice. It’s getting cooler, and Vancouver’s rainy season is just around the corner. Some years there is a fair bit of rain in October. Other years it’s surprisingly dry. More often than not, it’s a great month to be in Vancouver.
